It’s called ‘turkey day’ for a reason! The single most popular and universally utilized aspect of the thanksgiving holiday is the turkey. While I have never seen anyone show up to the family gathering in a turkey costume, I have no doubt many children (and a few adults) would simply love to see one of their favorite adults wearing a costume and…of course…putting on a turkey-walk-and-gobble performance.
If you are looking for a new twist on the annual thanksgiving pageant, then consider dressing everyone up as turkeys (and other woodland creatures?). It’s guaranteed to get both laughs and loads of picture-taking. Personally, I would like to see an entire flock of turkeys marching in a local thanksgiving parade.
